Community Outreach and Social Integration Programs
We bring fabrication into the heart of your community β delivering outreach workshops through community centers, libraries, schools, youth services, housing organizations, and adult education providers across Dublin and beyond.
Building Belonging Through Making
Our outreach workshops are more than metalwork β they're spaces for confidence, conversation, and connection. Designed for ESOL learners, newcomers, men's shed groups, women's empowerment programs, and social housing residents, every session is adapted to the group's language, pace, and social goals.
Refugee & Migrant Integration
Practical fabrication sessions support language development, teamwork, and social confidence for newcomers building lives in Ireland. We work with direct provision centers, integration services, and resettlement programs.
Men's Sheds & Women's Groups
Tackle isolation and mental wellbeing through purposeful making. Our community programs partner with men's shed networks, women's empowerment groups, and social housing associations to create peer-led workshop communities.

Impact and Trust: Outcomes, Partnerships, and Testimonials
Real numbers, real stories β because grantmakers, CSR teams, and community partners deserve evidence, not just promises.
"We referred six young men from our employment service and three now have trade apprenticeships. The forge gave them something no classroom could β a sense that they were genuinely good at something."
"The outreach session they delivered for our ESOL learners was extraordinary. It was the first time I'd seen some of these students genuinely laugh together. They made something real and were so proud."
"The forged piece they made for our hotel lobby entrance is stunning. It stops guests in their tracks. Knowing it was created by people who were long-term unemployed makes it even more powerful."
"I came out of prison with nothing. Aetherium Forge gave me a trade, a reference, and people who actually believed in me. I'm now a qualified welder with a permanent job."
"As a funder, impact evidence is everything. Aetherium Forge's reporting is meticulous and their outcomes are measurably above sector averages. A genuinely high-performing social enterprise."
"The STEAM workshop for our Transition Year students was the highlight of the year. Real tools, real fire, real skills. Every student said it was the best day they'd had in school."

Based at Parnell Square West in the heart of Dublin 1, our workshop and foundry serve as both a training environment and a genuine social enterprise β generating income through commissioned metalwork that directly funds community programs.
